Community & Governance

Slor promotes on-chain governance and community collaboration through a DAO structure combined with foundation coordination. This ensures that the network's development direction is community-driven.

Key Components

  • SLOR Token Holders: Have governance voting rights and participate in key proposals.

  • DAO Proposal System: A full cycle from initiation, discussion, voting, to execution.

  • Foundation Role: Responsible for daily coordination, technical implementation, and ecosystem development support.

Proposal Mechanism

  • Initiation: Any user holding more than 10,000 SLOR can initiate governance proposals.

  • Review Stage: The Foundation conducts initial compliance and technical review of the proposal.

  • Public Discussion: The community discusses the proposal for 7 days, allowing for modifications and additions.

  • Voting Stage: Token holders vote, with proposals passing if they reach a 51% approval rate

  • Execution Stage: Execution is automated on-chain or handled by the Foundation based on the proposal.

Governance Participation Forms

  • Network Parameter Adjustments: Changes to gas rates or block rewards.

  • New Module Approvals and Upgrades: Approvals for the introduction or upgrading of network modules.

  • Community Incentive Modifications: Adjustments to community reward structures.

  • Project Funding and Developer Grants: Allocation of funds to projects and distribution of developer grants.
